STEP 1: Detangle your hair!! This is very important prior to shampooing. Ensure that your hair is free of tangles, using a wide tooth comb or detangling brush.  Gently comb through your hair extensions with a wide tooth comb/brush from the ends of the hair to the roots, in small sections at a time, going from left to right or right to left. DO NOT EVER YANK OR PULL ON YOUR VIRGIN HAIR WHETHER IT'S YOUR OWN HAIR OR HAIR EXTENSIONS....​

​STEP 2: Shampooing & Conditioning.  

Shampoo hair at least once a week. Curly textures require frequent shampoos or co-washes. Shampoo with a mild, moisturizing shampoo. Gently, Wash hair in downward motion. DO NOT WASH your Virgin Hair in a VIGOROUS MOTION, this causes tangling and breakage. Wash hair using warm water and shampoo with products that do not contain silicone, alcohol, or peroxide. DO NOT CARE FOR YOUR HAIR WHEN YOU ARE MAD OR UPSET, we tend to take it out on the hair and our Virgin Hair needs Unconditional  Love....​

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Do not use rough (harsh) products for washing, styling, or conditioning hair.

Do not use products with alcohol base for shining hair.


​HEAT: Heat is a "BIG" NO NO for your Virgin Hair. If you have to use heat, use heat at a low setting. Do not care for your hair when you don't have the time. Always alot enough time in your selected day to care for your hair extensions. You can also use a "hair drying" cap if you prefer not to use heat. Use flat/curling irons at a low setting to prevent damaging the hair. ​

SLEEP: Put your hair "up" at night. 

Plait or pin curl your hair before going to sleep to ensure your hair does not dry out and or become tangled. Silk or Satin pillowcases and silk/satin hair wraps (also called "wrap caps" or "head wraps") helps to keep moisture in the hair, and for dry hair, which can be common with black hair, this is especially important. For women with perms or pressed hair, wearing a satin or silk head wrap can also help flatten hair and keep a hairstyle neater for a longer period of time. If the hair is wrapped around the scalp, this also helps to avoid bushy edges and ends.

​SHOWER: When taking a shower, we recommend  covering your hair with a drying cap to deter moisture from getting to the hair. Second, cover the drying cap with a plastic shower cap  for added security.

 

TIP1: To determine whether or not your Hair is Authentic Virgin Remy Hair,  run your fingers from the ends of a hair to the root/weft. The Cuticle of hair will feel prickley/rough as you run against the cuticles. Silicone dipped hair will be smooth in both directions.
